Meaning of Home
The Meaning of Home contest is a national student writing contest for grades 4, 5, and 6 to share what home means to them. Every student who enters the contest will help their local Habitat affiliate build safe and affordable homes. The contest launches in January each year and winners are announced in June.
Donate building materials or appliances
We gratefully accept gifts in kind or discounted building materials to help us build and outfit modular homes. Each home we build is outfitted with appliances including a washer and dryer, dishwasher, oven, and fridge/freezer.
Host an Event
Hosting an event and donating all or part of the proceeds to Habitat for Humanity NWT is a great way to profile your commitment to community investment.
