By volunteering with Habitat for Humanity NWT, you can be part of helping to build a North where everyone has a safe and decent place to live.
On our active build sites in Yellowknife and other NWT communities, we are looking for volunteers who have specific skills in the building industry including:
- General contractor
- Electrician
- Plumber
- Painter
- Tiling
- Surveying
- Cabinetry
- Window/door installation
- Deck construction
Due to our shift to modular home construction and our small size, we have limited opportunities at this time to accommodate volunteers without construction skills. Onsite volunteers must complete a safety orientation and wear approved safety gear.
